Pall Ring
Pall Ring is made on the basis of Raschig Ring. Its ring wall has many holes with the same height and external diameter, inside the ring has internal reinforcement. This kind of structure has made full use of the pall ring’s inner surface which allows the gas and liquid to come through. Compared with Raschig ring, the distribution of gas and liquid has improved. The separation rate is obviously increased. As one of the mainly used random packing, pall ring has the advantage of large flux, small resistance, high separation rate, flexible in operation and etc. The pall ring is widely used in various devices of isolation, absorption, common decompression, such as toluene separation, ethylbenzene separation, Isooctane separation and desulphurization system etc.
